Chennai, Oct. 28 -- An anonymous e-mail stating that bombs were planted at theresidences of popualr actors Rajinikanth at Poes Garden and Dhanush and at thehouse of TNCC President K Selaperunthagai, turned out to be a hoax, today.
The e-mails were sent to the office of the Tamil Nadu DGP by some unknown people.
Soon after receiving the threat messages, the police department, not taking any chances,rushed seprate teams to their houses along with Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad(BDDS) personnel and sniffer dogs and made a thorough search of their premises.
However, no explosives were found in any of the venues and the threats turned out tobe hoax.
