Hyderabad, Sept. 30 -- The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has renewed the building permits of Aditya Company Construction in Manchirevula village of Rangareddy district, in line with the directions of the High Court.

Officials clarified that there were no violations of rules in granting the renewal.

HMDA had initially sanctioned permits in August 2022 to Aditya Kedia Realtors for constructing a 38-storey multi-storey building on 9.19 acres in Gandipet mandal.

However, following a joint inspection by HMDA, Irrigation, and Revenue officials in July 2023, it was found that the company had encroached on the Musi river buffer zone and erected a retaining wall.
