New Delhi, April 28 -- A tragic road accident late Monday night on Ashoka Road claimed the lives of two cousins, Yagya Bhatia (20) and Abhav Bhatia (14), officials said on Tuesday.
According to police, a PCR call was received regarding a fatal accident near the Mahadev Road T-point on Ashoka Road, opposite the PNB Complex, under the jurisdiction of Parliament Street police station.
The accident occurred around 10:30 pm when the victims were returning home after watching an IPL match. It involved a motorcycle and a goods carrier.
When police reached the spot, both victims were found lying unconscious on the road. They were rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared them brought dead.
