Hindus should have at least four children and dedicate one of them to RSS: Dhirendra Shastri

Nagpur, April 25 -- Bageshwar Dham head priest Dhirendra Krishna Shastri said Hindus should have at least four children and dedicate one of them to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

Speaking at the foundation-laying ceremony of the proposed 'Bharat Durga Temple' by the Dr Abaji Thatte Seva and Research Institute here on Friday, Shastri called upon Hindus to increase their population, saying it was necessary for the protection of religion and the nation.

He cautioned that if Hindus do not remain conscious about their population, an existential crisis could arise in the future. He said Hindus should have at least four children and dedicate one of them to the RSS.
