Dharamshala, April 5 -- Himachal Pradesh Assembly Deputy Chief Whip and MLA, Kewal Singh Pathania, today said the state government is committed to providing clean and safe drinking water to every household, stressing that access to pure water is key to improving public health.
Addressing a gathering at Batbala in Shahpur constituency after performing the bhoomipujan of a water treatment plant to be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 3.29 crore under the Jal Shakti Department's Manei-Pargod Lift Drinking Water Scheme, Pathania said the project will include the construction of four water storage tanks at different locations.
