Sainj (Kullu), March 17 -- The Directorate of School Education of Himachal Pradesh has dismissed a contractual lecturer with immediate effect following allegations of molestation involving a minor female student from the Scheduled Caste community.
The accused, identified as Vipin Kumar, was a History lecturer posted at the Government Senior Secondary School in Sainj. According to official orders issued today by Education Director Ashish Kohli, a preliminary inquiry revealed that Kumar summoned three minor students to his private residence during school hours on February 19, to perform domestic chores.
