Palampur, Feb. 28 -- Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya organized a Vulture Conservation Workshop , bringing together leading national and international experts to deliberate on coordinated and sustainable strategies to protect the rapidly declining scavenger species.
International conservation biologist Chris Bowden, senior veterinarian and avian wildlife conservationist Dr. Percy Avari, and noted ornithologist Dr. Malyasri Bhattacharya highlighted the ecological, veterinary and public health significance of vultures.
