Dharamshala/New Delhi, Feb. 15 -- As many as 410 panchayats in Himachal Pradesh have been provided high-speed broadband services under the BharatNet project, the union Government informed Parliament.
Minister of State for Communications Dr. Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar told Rajya Sabha MP Indu Bala Goswami in the Rajya Sabha that under Phase I and Phase II of the BharatNet project, a total of 2,22,341 panchayats across the country are to be provided high-speed broadband connectivity, out of which 2,14,904 have already been covered.
