Shimla, March 28 -- Himachal Pradesh government has recorded a steady rise in State Goods and Services Tax (SGST) revenue over the past three financial years, with total SGST collections reaching approximately Rs 16,169 Crore up to January 2026.
Replying to a written query by Jhanduta MLA JR Katwal and Trilok Jamwal, MLA from Bilaspur, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu tabled a data highlighting consistent growth in tax mobilisation, reflecting improved compliance and economic activity in the State.
According to official figures, the State government has received a total of Rs 16,169.44 crore as State GST (SGST) revenue over the last three financial years up to January 2026.
