Shimla, Jan. 19 -- A social media post by Himachal Pradesh Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Vikramaditya Singh on the use of new road construction technology has drawn strong public reactions, with citizens questioning construction quality and alleging irregularities in road projects across the state.
In his post, the minister stated that to curb the recurring problem of roads crumbling within days of metalling and tarring, he has adopted CSIR-certified Cement Grouted Bituminous Mix (CHBM) technology.
