Shimla, Feb. 17 -- Congress MLA from Gagret in Una district, Rakesh Kalia, on Tuesday raised concerns in the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly over officers allegedly failing to answer or return phone calls from elected representatives.

Speaking on the second day of the Assembly session, Kalia said several officers not only avoid taking calls from MLAs but also fail to return missed calls, even when contacted regarding public works and urgent matters. He termed their attitude indifferent and detrimental to public interest.
