Shimla, March 10 -- Himachal Pradesh Directorate of Elementary Education has directed all district authorities to ensure the direct transfer of school uniform funds to eligible students under the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system for the academic session 2025-26.
According to instructions issued to all Deputy Directors of School Education (Elementary), an amount of Rs 600 per student has been sanctioned for girls and boys belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Below Poverty Line (BPL) categories studying in Classes I to VIII.
The benefit would be provided to students studying in all government schools except PM SHRI Schools, in accordance with guidelines issued by the Government of India.
