Hamirpur, Jan. 31 -- The state government has approved the establishment of a Critical Care Unit (CCU) at Bhoranj Hospital with an allocation of approximately Rs 24 crore, Deputy Commissioner Gandharva Rathore said.
Under the project, an additional hospital block will be constructed, along with the creation of around a dozen posts for doctors and nearly 20 posts for paramedical staff. The hospital will also receive 50 additional beds, including 10 ICU beds and six High Dependency Unit (HDU) beds. The CCU will have 24 beds in an isolation ward, besides two beds each in the isolation room, dialysis unit, and Maternal and Child Health (MCH) unit.
