Shimla, March 30 -- Himachal Pradesh Governor Kavinder Gupta on Monday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi and discussed various issues related to the development and welfare of Himachal Pradesh.
The meeting marked Gupta's first interaction with the Prime Minister after assuming office as the Governor of the state.
During the meeting, the Governor apprised the Prime Minister of several initiatives currently being implemented in Himachal Pradesh, including the Drug-Free Himachal Campaign and the TB-Free Himachal Campaign, which aim to improve public health and strengthen social awareness.
