Shimla, March 4 -- The Emergency Response Support System (ERSS-112) of the Himachal Pradesh Police has secured second place at the all India level for February, Director General of Police Ashok Tiwari said on Tuesday.
In a statement, Tiwari described the ranking as a significant achievement and attributed it to improved coordination and operational efficiency within the force.
The state ranked ninth in January 2026, 21st in December 2025 and 34th in November 2025, reflecting steady progress in recent months, he said.
Ashok Tiwari described the accomplishment as a matter of pride for the entire police department and credited the success to the dedication, professionalism and coordinated efforts of the force.
