Shimla, Oct. 25 -- The Himachal Pradesh Cabinet in its meeting held here on Saturday decided to allow the Transport Department to issue necessary permission for conversion of 1,000 existing diesel/petrol taxis into electric taxis with provision of 40 percent subsidy under the Rajiv Gandhi Swarozgar Yojna.
The Cabinet gave its approval to allow 15 days paternity leave for male contractul employees in the state.
It approved the proposal to streamline implementation and efficient monitoring mechanism of Prakritik Kheti Khushhal Kisan Yojna and H.P Crop Diversification Project (JICA-Phase-II) in the state.
