Hamirpur, Feb. 7 -- After granting Nagar Panchayat status to the sub-divisional headquarters of Bhoranj, the Himachal Pradesh government has released the first installment of Rs. 1.06 crore through the Urban Development Department for the newly formed Nagar Panchayat.
Local Congress MLA Suresh Kumar stated that the second installment will also be released shortly. He added that the funds will be utilized for a range of development projects in the Bhoranj Nagar Panchayat area, including the construction of paved roads, streetlights, public toilets, a waste disposal plant, and other essential infrastructure.
