Ranchi, Dec. 19 -- With the Hockey India League (HIL) 2025-26 approaching, the sporting fervour in the state capital has reached its peak.
Preparations for hosting this prestigious tournament are now in their final stages, with the Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Munda AstroTurf Hockey Stadium being given a complete facelift.
Extensive renovation and beautification work is underway at the stadium, including fresh painting, repair of spectator galleries, finishing of the playing surface, upgradation of lighting systems and installation of modern technical facilities.
According to officials, these efforts aim to ensure international-standard amenities for both players and spectators.
