Amravati, Jan. 29 -- Four people were killed in a head-on collision between two cars on the Bhatkuli-Daryapur road near Sayat village in Maharashtra's Amravati district late Wednesday night, police said on Thursday.
Two cars, reportedly travelling at high speed, collided head-on. The severity of the impact left the front portions of both vehicles completely mangled.
The deceased have been identified as Juned Khan (35), a resident of Badnera; Mukund Kale (57) of Yashodanagar, Amravati; Gopal Singh Rajpurohit (30) and Prem alias Prakash Bishnoi (32), both residents of Bhatkuli.
Khan and Kale were travelling in one vehicle, while Rajpurohit and Bishnoi were in the other.
