Hamirpur (HP), Feb. 15 -- A large number of devotees thronged Lord Shiva temples across the district on Sunday to celebrate Maha Shivaratri. Thousands of men, women, and children visited the temples, while many more were seen waiting in queues to offer their prayers to Lord Shiva and Maa Parvati.
The main rush was observed at the Gasoteshwara Maharaj Temple in Gasota and the Samtana Temple of Lord Shiva. Both temples were adorned with vibrant floral decorations, and devotees offered doodh-lassi (milk and yogurt) and Bilb patri to the Shiva Lingam, seeking blessings for themselves and their families.
