Hyderabad, Nov. 20 -- Healthium Medtech, a global medical technology company, has signed an MoU with the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (APEDB) to expand its manufacturing operations in Sri City of Andhra Pradesh.
As part of the agreement, the company will establish Healthium Medtech Unit 2 on a 5-acre site in the Sri City Industrial Park with an investment of Rs 150 crore, to be executed in two phases, a company statement said today.
The new facility will build on Healthium's existing presence in Sri City, where it has been operating a SEZ unit since 2012 that manufactures sutures and meshes. The expansion strengthens Sri City's position as a growing hub for advanced medtech manufacturing.
