Ranchi, Jan. 26 -- Jharkhand Health Minister Irfan Ansari participated in various Republic Day programmes organized at different locations across Jamtara district on Monday.
The district witnessed a vibrant display of patriotism and enthusiasm on the auspicious occasion.
Ansari conveyed a strong message of public service, social harmony and development. The day's programme commenced from his Jamtara residence, from where he proceeded to Indira Chowk and formally hoisted the National Flag, paying tribute to it.
He later paid floral tributes at Tower Chowk to the statue of freedom fighter Veer Kunwar Singh. At Subhash Chowk, he offered flowers at the statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.
