Dhaka, Dec. 30 -- The health condition of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia has worsened and become "extremely critical", members of her medical board said on Monday night.
"Khaleda Zia's condition is extremely critical. She is being kept on life support and is now receiving regular dialysis," her medical board member Dr Ziaul Haque said.
The 80-year-old leader is under treatment at the Critical Care Unit (CCU) of Evercare Hospital for the past several weeks.
