Shimla, March 18 -- Himachal Pradesh High Court has stayed further proceedings before an arbitrator in a financial dispute involving the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi and the Central Public Works Department (CPWD), while hearing a petition (LPA No.121 of 2026) filled by the IIT.

The matter was taken up on March 16 by a Division Bench comprising Chief Justice G.S. Sandhawalia and Justice Bipin C. Negi copy of which was issued here today . The three page order passed by the court stated that IIT Mandi's application for impleadment before the arbitrator had been rejected on April 18, 2025.
