Chandigarh, Feb. 11 -- The Punjab and Haryana High Court has issued a notice to Punjab government over a fresh petition filed by Khadoor Sahib Member of Parliament (MP) Amritpal Singh, currently detained under the National Security Act (NSA), challenging the government's decision to deny him temporary parole to attend the ongoing Budget Session of Parliament.
The court has directed the state authorities to submit a detailed response within ten days.
