Mumbai, Jan. 3 -- The Bombay High Court has asked the Maharashtra government to ensure the smooth implementation of the Ladki Behna Scheme and take appropriate steps so that all eligible women can exercise their right to seek benefits under it.
A Division bench of the high court comprising Chief Justice Devendra Upadhyaya and Justice Amit Borkar gave direction while disposing off a PIL filed by Prameya Welfare Foundation seeking direction to the state for appropriate implementation of the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Scheme in respect of eligible women as filling up and uploading of applications have turned problematic for those seeking to enroll under it..
