Mumbai, March 12 -- President of the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee, Harshvardhan Sapkal, on Thursday blamed the shortage of LPG cylinders across the country on what he termed the "wrong policies and inefficiency" of the BJP government.

He urged citizens to draw inspiration from the historic Dandi March and launch protests against the government.

Speaking to the media during the inauguration of a Congress public representatives' workshop in Trimbakeshwar, Sapkal said the ongoing gas shortage amid the Gulf war situation reflects the central government's lack of preparedness to handle emergencies.
