Hyderabad, Nov. 21 -- Telangana Farmers' Commission Chairman Kodanda Reddy on Friday dismissed former minister and BRS leader T Harish Rao's allegations on the implementation of the Bhu Bharati Act, calling them "baseless" and politically motivated.

He said all the land-related issues raised by Harish Rao originated during the previous BRS government and accused him of shifting blame onto the Revanth Reddy administration.

Kodanda Reddy said farmers suffered for years due to land irregularities, lack of transparency and unresolved issues under the Dharani system introduced by the earlier government.
