New Delhi, Jan. 26 -- Tributes poured in from across the cricketing fraternity on Monday following the death of former BCCI president Inderjit Singh Bindra, with former India stars Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh leading the outpouring of grief and remembrance for the veteran administrator.
Harbhajan described Bindra as a father figure and a towering pillar of Punjab cricket, recalling the guidance, support and wisdom he received throughout his career.
He said Bindra's influence went far beyond administration, shaping lives as well as careers.
Yuvraj Singh also expressed deep sadness at Bindra's passing, remembering him as a great administrator whose impact he witnessed from a young age, and extended condolences to his family.
