Bhubaneswar, Feb. 23 -- The 20th Toshali Swadeshi Mela came alive with a spectacular Handloom Fashion Show that celebrated Odisha's rich textile legacy in a vibrant and contemporary style.
Organised under the aegis of the Odisha Handloom, Textile and Handicrafts Department, the fashion show emerged as one of the major highlights of this year's mela, blending tradition with modern elegance.
The grand showcase paid tribute to nationally acclaimed, award-winning weavers such as Bhakta Raj Meher, R.K. Meher, Bhikari Meher, Hari Sankar Meher, Uttam Meher, and Arindra Meher, whose exceptional craftsmanship continues to uphold Odisha's proud weaving heritage.
