Hamirpur, Jan. 25 -- In a significant escalation of its ongoing campaign against narcotics, the Hamirpur Police has successfully tracked down and arrested a drug supplier linked to a recent heroin seizure.
This was stated by district police chief, Balbir Singh Thakur on Sunday.
He said that this breakthrough follows the events of January 20, 2026, when a vigilant team from Police Station Sadar intercepted a motorcycle in the Kanaul/Bhota area.
During the operation, officers recovered 13.83 grams of heroin (Chitta) from two individuals: Sukhvinder Singh (resident of Gondpur, Una) and Sahil (resident of Patthalyar, Hamirpur). Both remain in police custody until January 27, 2026.
