Visakhapatnam, April 19 -- The Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) has put in place extensive arrangements at Simhagiri for the smooth conduct of the annual 'Chandanotsavam' at Simhachalam Temple here on Monday.
Talking to reporters here on Sunday, GVMC Commissioner Ketan Garg said all necessary measures have been taken to ensure the convenience of devotees visiting for the darshan of Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy.
He directed officials and staff to discharge their duties with utmost care and avoid any lapses during the festival.
A large number of pilgrims are expected to visit Simhagiri for the Chandanotsavam, and accordingly, arrangements have been scaled up, he said..
