Imphal / Senapati, Dec. 28 -- Governor of Manipur Ajay Kumar Bhalla on Sunday graced the Sports Meet-cum-92nd Anniversary celebrations of the Mao Students' union (MSU) at Punanamei in Senapati district, underscoring the role of sports in shaping disciplined, responsible and service-oriented youth.
The programme, organised under the theme 'Empowering the Future through Sports', marked 92 years since the establishment of the Mao Students' union in 1933 and celebrated its long-standing contribution to social and educational development. On the occasion, the Governor also unveiled a commemorative monolith to mark the anniversary.
