Ranchi, Nov. 15 -- The 150th birth anniversary of Dharti Aaba Bhagwan Birsa Munda was marked with deep reverence and tradition at Ulihatu in Khunti district on Saturday, where Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Chief Minister Hemant Soren and union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram paid homage at his birthplace.
Upon reaching Ulihatu, the ancestral village of Birsa Munda, the Governor, Chief Minister and union Minister participated in traditional tribal rituals at his birthplace. They offered prayers according to age-old customs and then garlanded his statue, laying flowers as a symbol of heartfelt tribute.
