Lucknow, March 17 -- On the auspicious occasion of the Hindu New Year (Vikram Samvat 2083), a grand, cultural and inspiring program will be organized in Lucknow on March 19 (Thursday) under the guidance of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) by the Swami Vivekananda Weekly Meet and the National Festivals and Celebrations Committee.
Speaking at a press conference held here on Tuesday, the committee''s convener, Lalit Srivastava, stated that the objective of the program is to strengthen the spirit of national consciousness, cultural pride and social responsibility within society.
The event is scheduled to take place at 5:30 PM on March 19 near the 1090 Crossing in Gomti Nagar in the state capital.
