Pankaj JainNew Delhi, March 30 -- Amid evolving global supply challenges and price volatility, the Government has intensified efforts to ensure uninterrupted availability and smooth distribution of fertilizers across the country, while maintaining stable prices for farmers ahead of the Kharif 2026 season.

Officials said that despite disruptions in global supply chains, particularly from the Gulf region, a major source of Urea, Diammonium Phosphate (DAP), and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), the overall domestic situation remains stable, with adequate stocks and proactive measures in place to bridge supply gaps.
