New Delhi, March 31 -- With the situation in West Asia continuing to evolve, the Government of India on Tuesday said it has stepped up coordinated measures across energy, shipping and citizen support systems to ensure stability, while urging States and union Territories to actively counter misinformation through regular press briefings.
In an official update, authorities highlighted that efforts are focused on maintaining uninterrupted fuel supplies, securing maritime operations and assisting Indian nationals returning from the region.
On the energy front, the government assured that petroleum product supplies remain stable despite disruptions linked to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
