Bhubaneswar, Nov. 22 -- The Odisha government today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute (CIFRI) for independent research on the conservation, protection, and increased production of the "Mahanadi Mahaseer," which has been recognized as the State Fish of Odisha.
The MoU was signed on the occasion of observance of the state-level World Fisheries Day-2025 programme in Bhubaneswar.
