New Delhi, Feb. 11 -- The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions on Wednesday informed Parliament that the average disposal time of public grievances for Central Government Ministries and Departments is 15 days, faster than the 21-day resolution timeline under the Centralised Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS), as of January 31, 2026.

While most grievances are resolved within the stipulated period, a small number take longer. Out of 71,887 pending grievances with central ministries, 5,845 had remained unresolved for more than 90 days. On matters involving states and districts, grievances are routed to State Nodal Officers, with pendency figures maintained on a state-wise basis.
