Mumbai, March 23 -- : In a significant move triggered by ongoing global tensions and supply constraints, the government has reportedly decided to introduce a major change in the distribution of domestic LPG cylinders across the country.

As per the new development, households may now receive partially filled LPG cylinders instead of the standard full-capacity supply. Traditionally, domestic cylinders carry 14.2 kilograms of gas; however, under the revised arrangement, consumers are likely to receive cylinders containing only 8 to 10 kilograms of LPG.
