Kannur, Sept. 2 -- Kerala Revenue Minister K Rajan today said that the government has made 409,995 families in the state landowners in last nine years.

Speaking at a "Koothuparamba constituency Title deed fair" function held for distribution of 153 title deeds at Koothuparamba, Minister Rajan said Kerala has achieved unprecedented progress in land title distribution through the government's historic "Land Title Mission".

As part of the mission, land title assemblies were held with the participation of the people's representatives, and special revenue officials were appointed to resolve issues related to the title issuance. A "Land Title Dash Board" was also created to monitor the process.
