New Delhi, Feb. 18 -- Galgotias University has been directed to vacate the India AI Summit Expo premises following a controversy over the display of a Chinese-made robotic dog during the ongoing summit in Delhi. Government sources said the action was taken after reports emerged that the robot, manufactured in China, was showcased at the event.
The controversy erupted after it was alleged that the Unitree Go2 robotic dog was exhibited under the name "Orion," leading to criticism on social media. The university faced accusations of presenting imported Chinese technology as an indigenous innovation at the India AI Summit 2026.
