Aizawl, Feb. 17 -- Mizoram Governor Vijay Kumar Singh on Tuesday laid out a wide-ranging roadmap for economic self-reliance, underscoring agriculture-led growth, infrastructure expansion and value-driven industrial activity with a special focus on bamboo and other locally available resources.
Addressing the Mizoram Legislative Assembly in his annual address, the Governor said the government's development strategy places strong emphasis on youth empowerment through skill development, entrepreneurship initiatives and sports promotion. These, he said, are central to building a resilient and self-sustaining economy.
