Ranchi, Feb. 12 -- Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar today said that while the state is rich in forests and mineral resources, maintaining a balance between development and environmental conservation is a collective responsibility.

He said this in his address while inagurating the "CMS VATAVARAN Ranchi Travelling Film Festival" at Audrey House in Ranchi.

He described the theme "Roots & Renewal: Indigenous Knowledge, Youth Voices, Planetary Stewardship" as highly relevant and meaningful in the present context.
