Jaipur, Feb. 8 -- Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagade said here Saturday that blending Gurukul values with digital education will make India a Global Education Leader.
Bagade was delivering a convocation speech at the 5th convocation of the Manipal University Jaipur's Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) for Online Degree Programmes.
The Governor reflected on India's rich educational heritage rooted in the ancient Gurukul system, which emphasised holistic development, discipline, and social responsibility through close teacher - student interaction. He stated that the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 revitalises this philosophy in a contemporary framework by promoting holistic, skill-based, and life-oriented education.
