Pune, Feb. 12 -- Although the issue of tackling transportation challenges in Pune is difficult, the government is working well to improve the infrastructure of the city, Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar observed on Thursday.

Many works like flyovers and expansion of the metro are being started which will strengthen the infrastructure and help in improving the transportation system. he said while peaking at an awards ceremony organized by the Pune centre of The Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) at Bougainvillea Farms, Vakil Nagar, DP Road. "We will see the face of the city change in the next three to four years," he said.
