New Delhi, Feb. 1 -- Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs Nirmala Sitharaman, while presenting the union Budget 2026-2027 in Parliament on Sunday, stated that the government's vision is 'Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas', and to ensure that every family, community, region, and sector has access to resources, amenities, and opportunities for meaningful participation.
She said several initiatives have been introduced to realise this vision.
Announcing the Divyangjan Kaushal Yojana, Sitharaman noted that sectors such as IT, AVGC, hospitality, and food and beverage offer task-oriented and process-driven roles well suited to Divyangjans.
