Hyderabad, Feb. 23 -- Telangana Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy on Monday clarified that the Gouravelli irrigation project will be taken up on a priority basis by the Congress government and completed at the earliest, despite delays caused by environmental clearances and legal issues.

The Minister held a special review meeting with BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar at the B.R. Ambedkar Secretariat on the progress of the Gourelli project under construction in Gouravelli village of Akkanapeta mandal in Siddipet district.
