Glow Garden at Mahabs a big hit among tourists

Chennai, Feb. 10 -- Tamil Nadu's first glow garden, a day-and-night entertainment hub, opened at the tourist spot and UNESCO Heritage site of Mamallapuram, about 55 km from here, has turned out to be a big hit among the tourists.

Being Sunday yesterday, the number of visisors to the garden was sigifnicantly higher, according to Tourism department sources.

This first ever tourist-friendly initiative by the Tamil Nadu Government and the Tourism Department was opened for public a fewdays back and it was located inside the Maragatha Poonga.

And within a short span of time, it turned out to be a big hit among the tourists, attracting higher footfalls during weekends, withseveral families having a whale of a time with their children,who enjoye...
