Thiruvananthapuram, Feb. 8 -- The Kerala International Folk Festival, organised by the Kerala Folklore Academy, is captivating audiences in the state capital with a vibrant showcase of national and international folk traditions, turning Thiruvananthapuram into a hub of global cultural expression.

Artists from Africa, Russia, Spain, Brazil, China, and Egypt, along with folk performers from 16 Indian states, are presenting a colourful array of dances, music, and traditional art forms, offering visitors a rare and immersive cultural experience.

A major highlight of the festival is the first-time presentation of Kerala's indigenous tribal art forms together on a single stage.
